Range and Safety Rules

  1. All persons entering the range area must sign a release form each time you come to the range, except for members.

  2. Load firearms or magazines in the stall only with the firearm pointed downrange at all times.

  3. No smoking or drinking of any beverage in the range area.

  4. No homemade targets, i.e. : paper plates, playing cards, etc.

  5. Eye and ear protection must be worn at all times. No exceptions!

  6. If you are a novice shooter, it is your responsibility to inform the clerk signing you in for range rental.

  7. While on the range, all firearms ACTIONS must be kept OPEN when not firing. When carrying firearms on and off the range, their ACTIONS must be kept OPEN unless they are secured in a gun case, shooter's box, or range bag made for transporting purposes. A firearm in a holster, carried around in your hand, with the ACTION CLOSED is unacceptable.

  8. NO loaded firearms outside the range unless you are a current: CCW Licensee, Law Enforcement Officer (et al), and the firearm is properly HOLSTERED.

  9. NO stall jumping - Shoot only in the stall you were assigned to.

  10. NEVER shoot cross-stall. (Shoot only at the target directly in front of you).

  11. Maximum of 2 shooters per stall. (You may not rotate a third person).

  12. DO NOT turn around in the stall with a firearm in your hand.

  13. Never step forward of the firing line - ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN.

  14. BEHAVIOR DEEMED UNSAFE  by the management will result in expulsion with loss of range privileges. This holds true even if you are a member.

  15. No drawing from a holster. Firearms are to be placed on the plastic table top / shelf unless they are in a pistol box, etc.

  16. Please remove cardboard from the hanger and place it against the wall next to the entrance door when finished.

  17. Pick up your brass and place it in the red cans located on the stall wall. There is a $3.00 charge for stalls left dirty. Leave the stall clean for the next shooter. It's COURTESY.

  18. Do not lower the table top / shelf without permission from the management.

  19. Overtime Charges: The range is rented by the HOUR. You are given several minutes gratis for "setup" at your time of entry. If you need or request more time than the normal one (1) hour usage, you must advise the range attendant prior to your initial completion time. Additional usage will result in an additional hour charge unless otherwise approved by management. A clock is on the range for your convenience.

  20. All targets are to be placed on cardboard backing. Do not hang / clip targets directly on the hangers themselves.

  21. Do Not shoot the hangers. There is a $5.00 chare for lines or hangers shot down, and this damages the hangers.

I have read and understand all of the above rules and agree to abide by them. I understand that operating a firearm could be dangerous, and that mishandling a firearm could result in serious injury or loss of life.

I hereby release Royal Ridge Shooters Supply And Gunsmithing, its employees, officers, and instructors, and All American Staffing Inc. from any liability in connection with my voluntary use of the range.

A copy of this list / release must be signed and presented to the range clerk prior to your entrance to our range EACH TIME you visit.
